The World Itself

A couple nights ago I watched this movie called Trade. The movie is about a young man that befriends a cop from Texas to find the young man's sister. Overall, the movie is about human trafficking. I don't know a whole about human trafficking but there are two things I know about this subject. 1) is it's an inhumane act and disgrace on human beings and 2) I know it's not only through domestic channels, people are having this type of business in countries, international lands. America and the whole international world is so beautiful but it's corrupt at the same time. Human trafficking is not the only issue in this world that is so wrong, there are so many issues wrong in the world. I'm not saying there aren't people out in the world trying to eliminate or slow the business of human trafficking down because there are people who are trying to get this situation and many other issues resolved so everyone can get justice. We need to shake up the world for the better!! For those people who are doing the right thing in this world, keep doing what you're doing because the positive will pay off, negativity won't prosper at all!! Shaking up the world doesn't mean create chaos, it means doing something meaningful to help your fellow Americans that can't do for themselves, standing up for something that is wrong. We all have the ability to change the world, let's not sit on our bums, let's move and make change.

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday. Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .
