You Have To Go Through Bullshit Sometimes

Last night I saw The Big Sick starring Kumail Nanjiani and Zoe Kazan and the movie is so hilarious with some heart warming moments in it. I like to find profound messages in movies and this movie has a good one in my opinion. The message I got from this movie was that people go through bullshit. People go through bullshit on a daily basis but that doesn't mean we can't reach the pot of gold, in other words, the pursuit of happiness. For example, I just went through some bullshit this past week and the bullshit that I went through is that I didn't get this job in D.C that I wanted. Even though I didn't get the job that I wanted, I'm going to keep pushing, putting in applications and hopefully sooner than later I will have a job. Whatever bullshit you are currently in, you can get out of it and reach the pot of gold. Just keep pushing and keep fighting and you will reach the pot of gold . And last one thing, go to your nearby movie theatre and see The Big Sick, you w

Inferiority Complexes

I would say this is a sensitive subject for some people but I'm going to say what I have to say anyways. Some men and women have inferiority complexes. Some men work out so much so women will be attracted to them. Some women do the same thing but it's an add on they apply and that application is make up. Some women put on too much make up and in my opinion it's no need for that surplus make up because I'm pretty sure some women that put on surplus make up just need a confidence boost. Some men who work out too much to impress women don't need to do that, they need a confidence boost as well. Working out is good because it releases stress and it's so healthy for you. A little make up is good ladies but not too much because some  men, at least me want to see your whole natural face, not your make up face!! Just be yourself guys, just do you guys because at the end of the day, people want you for You!!  Well, at least that's what I want out of a woman.   People

I'm Girl Crazy

My hometown has beautiful young ladies of course but when I got to D.C. I'm so amazed of how beautiful the young ladies out here are. They're all around, on my left, on my right, side to side and across the street. I'm going crazy!! I'm not saying only D.C. is the only state that has the most beautiful young ladies but it's definitely a place to visit, other than the monuments and museums (lol). I don't know every young lady in D.C. so I don' know if their exterior matches the interior. In other words, I know they look beautiful on the outside but that doesn't mean their soul and personality is beautiful. I'm in a pickle now, its so damn frustrating!! To relieve that frustration and to meet a potential girlfriend I'm going speed dating. I got the idea from the movie, Hitch, it's such a good movie by the way. The reason I picked speed dating is because I thought it would be fun and plus you can feel out each young ladies vibes before choosing

Be A Light

I really like this song entitled Shine by Meek Mill. Meek Mill is a rapper for anyone who doesn't know. I like this song because Meek Mill is not being cocky about anything, he just wants everybody to Shine like he always does. Shining doesn't only mean everything is glorious on the exterior, it can be om the interior too. I really believe that if you Shine inside, you can Shine outside and receive blessings. This all includes about how you view yourself and others. Nobody is perfect so it may take days, weeks or months to let the light come within. I couldn't find my light until within a few months and I'm so grateful I found it because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to inspire and encourage others to become the best versions of themselves. I didn't find my light by myself, I had help and that help came from God. Find your light within and you might need help to find it but once you do, let it shine, let it shine, Let It Shine!! Let your light help somebo

War

I never knew the meaning of war. The perpetual violence is unsettling to me, it's like you kill my people, I kill your people. The violence will never stop until a system is in place that will absolutely abolish all violence. I know foreign countries have treaties to end violence but those treaties can always be broken or not followed. I'm not only talking about foreign countries but we have wars on domestic lands also. We have wars on drugs, terrorism and healthcare to just name a few. We have a lot of wars. There is so much violence in the world today, domestically and internationally so the part I'm going to play is to spread positivity and love wherever I am and wherever I'm going. This is an idea, why don't you guys join  me by spreading love and positivity everywhere you go. Replace the guns with handshakes and hugs, replace drugs with anything but that and replace terrorism with love and positivity.

People Change For Good Or Evil

I saw The Mummy two weeks ago and it's a real good movie!! At the end of the movie, it seemed like it was going to be a sequel so if that is the case I'm so excited to see it. The message that I got out of the movie is evil people will become good and good people will become evil. This necessarily doesn't happen to all people but to some people. Some people go through certain bad situations and after that situation(s) they become bitter and distasteful  towards their friends, boyfriends/girlfriends and/or people who try to help them better their situation(s). On the other hand, some people who were violent and had hatred in their veins for no reason will automatically change to positive beings. For example, Ashoka who was an Indian emperor who brutalized his enemies in war and had a chamber for his enemies but during war, I guess he an epiphany and suddenly he viewed life as beautiful and the creatures in it. His faith was now Buddhism. This can be anybody , it can be e

All Around Champions

Since I'm from Cleveland it wouldn't be right for me to not talk about the Cleveland Cavaliers this past Finals appearance.  Even though they didn't win the champion, I'm ok with it because we won a ring last year. Anyways, since we didn't win it, that's ok!! I have a message for the Cavaliers and the message is that you guys didn't win a ring this year but the most important thing is to become Champions  off the courts,  within your family, within your community and/or within yourself . This could be for any team who wants a championship. What I mean by these three phrases above is that be there for your children, be the greatest father/mother/guardian that you can be to your child. The second phrase is about starting a charity or multiple charities to give back to your community. The last phrase is about being developing yourself on a daily basis so you can achieve your very best. It's not the end of the world if you don't win a championship or mul
