Baby steps

Every time I see a beautiful girl, I always fall in love instantly. This is tricky because some girls have a beautiful face but has an ugly soul or an ugly personality. On the other hand, there is some beautiful girls who have beautiful souls or have beautiful personalities. I learned this the hard way in the past but whether they have ugly or beautiful personalities, we have to love each other. We have to love each other because loving will open your eyes to many other positive things but most importantly, Love is what God wants us to do. I always rush girls when I want them be my girlfriend. For example, I always tell a girl that I like them within a few days and I didn't get to know them that well and obviously it doesn't work out. I always did and I always do this but since I know this, I will get better at this. I won't let this be my weakness anymore, I'm going to make this my strength.  A lot of times I ask myself, "when will I ever learn" but everything is baby steps. I know that I will become comfortable with not rushing girls, it might not take a quick snap of my finger but I will eventually master it. It's like communicating with girls, I know I have trouble with this  but I will get better with this. I'm not going to let my insecurities hinder my happiness and I want you guys to not let your insecurities hinder your happiness. We are greater than any of our insecurities or obstacles because God made us to be great individuals. Spread Love. Spread Positivity.

Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday.
