This past weekend my family went to Toronto for a wedding but not a traditional wedding. It was a Punjabi wedding. The ceremony and reception was beautiful. There was so much food!! At the ceremony all guests had to sit on the floor cross legged no matter which position of power you are in which is great because the statement they are making is equality. Even people eat the same food. To conclude the ceremony, we ate this soft, wheat pastry. It was good!! At the reception, there were more food which was still good!! There was dancing and more eating and dancing again. The reception was great. I was part of the groom's party which the groom is African American. The bride is Indian and that side knows how to party. This is my first time experiencing a Punjabi wedding and it was amazing and beautiful. A few weeks ago, my family and I went to our second Joubert Syndrome Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. I met a lot of families and it was such a blessing to meet them. For the first timers and the people who've been to the conferences before looked at me and looked at their children who have Joubert Syndrome and some of the children are non verbal and in wheelchairs. The parents say that I'm their inspiration because of all the accomplishments that I made. One lady told my mother she was inspired and I gave her hope for her son after I spoke at the Joubert Syndrome conference in Chicago. The parents don't know this but their kids inspire me on a constant basis because they try, try, and try. They Never Give Up!! With the foreseen and unforeseen circumstances that they might have to go through, they are Brave on a continuous basis. At my conference in Chicago, I spoke about my accomplishments and obstacles while I grew up with Joubert Syndrome and up to now....

On Friday afternoon, I was walking down the street and this lady stopped and the lady was part of Planned Parenthood and she wanted money from me to support the organization. I wanted to express my views on this subject. I told her I'm anti-abortion but if abortion is your last resort and you can't think of anything else, you don't have any choice. I hate to say that but I would imagine some women out in the world don't have the financial stability to keep the baby or babies. Also, they could be in other certain situations that they can't get out of and they don't want to burden the baby or babies with their situation(s). I truly believe that babies are gifts from God and if any woman aborts a baby, they are actually slapping God in the face.  God knows your situation(s) and He is a forgiving God. Last night I saw The Big Sick starring Kumail Nanjiani and Zoe Kazan and the movie is so hilarious with some heart warming moments in it. I like to find profound messages in movies and this movie has a good one in my opinion. The message I got from this movie was that people go through bullshit. People go through bullshit on a daily basis but that doesn't mean we can't reach the pot of gold, in other words, the pursuit of happiness. For example, I just went through some bullshit this past week and the bullshit that I went through is that I didn't get this job in D.C that I wanted. Even though I didn't get the job that I wanted, I'm going to keep pushing, putting in applications and hopefully sooner than later I will have a job. Whatever bullshit you are currently in, you can get out of it and reach the pot of gold. Just keep pushing and keep fighting and you will reach the pot of gold . I would say this is a sensitive subject for some people but I'm going to say what I have to say anyways. Some men and women have inferiority complexes. Some men work out so much so women will be attracted to them. Some women do the same thing but it's an add on they apply and that application is make up. Some women put on too much make up and in my opinion it's no need for that surplus make up because I'm pretty sure some women that put on surplus make up just need a confidence boost. Some men who work out too much to impress women don't need to do that, they need a confidence boost as well. Working out is good because it releases stress and it's so healthy for you. A little make up is good ladies but not too much because some  men, at least me want to see your whole natural face, not your make up face!! My hometown has beautiful young ladies of course but when I got to D.C. I'm so amazed of how beautiful the young ladies out here are. They're all around, on my left, on my right, side to side and across the street. I'm going crazy!! I'm not saying only D.C. is the only state that has the most beautiful young ladies but it's definitely a place to visit, other than the monuments and museums (lol). I don't know every young lady in D.C. so I don' know if their exterior matches the interior. In other words, I know they look beautiful on the outside but that doesn't mean their soul and personality is beautiful. I'm in a pickle now, its so damn frustrating!! To relieve that frustration and to meet a potential girlfriend I'm going speed dating. I got the idea from the movie, Hitch, it's such a good movie by the way. I really like this song entitled Shine by Meek Mill. Meek Mill is a rapper for anyone who doesn't know. I like this song because Meek Mill is not being cocky about anything, he just wants everybody to Shine like he always does. Shining doesn't only mean everything is glorious on the exterior, it can be om the interior too. I really believe that if you Shine inside, you can Shine outside and receive blessings. This all includes about how you view yourself and others. Nobody is perfect so it may take days, weeks or months to let the light come within. I couldn't find my light until within a few months and I'm so grateful I found it because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to inspire and encourage others to become the best versions of themselves.
