Be A Light

I really like this song entitled Shine by Meek Mill. Meek Mill is a rapper for anyone who doesn't know. I like this song because Meek Mill is not being cocky about anything, he just wants everybody to Shine like he always does. Shining doesn't only mean everything is glorious on the exterior, it can be om the interior too. I really believe that if you Shine inside, you can Shine outside and receive blessings. This all includes about how you view yourself and others. Nobody is perfect so it may take days, weeks or months to let the light come within. I couldn't find my light until within a few months and I'm so grateful I found it because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to inspire and encourage others to become the best versions of themselves. I didn't find my light by myself, I had help and that help came from God. Find your light within and you might need help to find it but once you do, let it shine, let it shine, Let It Shine!! Let your light help somebody else find their light so you guys can both Shine greater than Ever!!

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday. Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .
