Not being recognized

Yesterday, I visited a church called Union Wesley African Methodist Evangelical Zion. The pastor of the church is Rev. Alvin T. Durant. His message was Unnoticed at Your Own Party. He was referring to when Jesus was born and how people ignored him on His special day. A lot of people still don't believe in Him and I think this is so unfortunate because Jesus Christ is worth knowing!! By saying that I also don't judge people on their beliefs. I truly believe that we are here on this earth to spread positivity and love, no matter which spiritual being you believe in. When I was listening to the pastor, I couldn't help but think of the people we (Catholic Charities) serve. We serve the homeless and the lower class populations and I'm pretty sure some  people don't even care about them or glance at them because of their current situation. Some people look down at the marginalized, the outcasts, and people who have mental illnesses. Those people forget they are still human beings so they just ignore them completely. But I have good news!!  Jesus doesn't ignore or forget them, he puts His protective wings around them. He walks with them so He can guide them in the right direction in life. Don't be cruel to the less fortunate and don't Ever forget them like Jesus hasn't forgotten about You. Just continue to spread positivity and love into the world and let your voices be heard throughout all of the nations. Speak up against injustices that are done to the marginalized and the less fortunate. Make a difference in their lives and yours as well!!
