Following Through

When I was growing up, I didn't follow through with activities. I was in taekwondo and I just mastered the white belt. I didn't stick with it though. When I was a pre teen I wanted to learn the drums so I learned how to play the drums for a little while but after one year of doing that I stopped playing. I learned from my mistakes so I Will  be following through on things from now on because I have dreams I want to accomplish.  If We don't follow through on things, we won't get our dreams accomplished, we will become stationary. I don't know about You but I don't want to be stationary, I want to be mobile. I have a dream and I won't stop until my dream is accomplished. I know it will be roadblocks in my way but I am Determined to get my dream out of the dream phase and into the reality phase. I want to create a film. This film is about the current status of the United States,  African Americans and Caucasians aren't getting along, extremists are attacking countries and states and people are being ostracized and victimized for being themselves. This film circles around the phrase All Lives Matter. If you guys would contribute to my film project I would really appreciate it, thanks so much!! Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday. Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .
