Be a risk-taker

I really like the movie She's Out of my League but the main reason I like this movie is  because of the message. The message in my opinion was even though friends and everybody around the guy ( Jay Baruchel) thought he couldn't handle that type of successful women ( Alice Eve) but he proved everybody wrong. In the movie they were rating girls and that is so disrespectful so Do Not do this at all. I feel like rating girls/guys won't help your situation at all, it will worsen your situation. Just be a risk-taker and explore the girl or guy's dislikes and likes before you jump into the relationship. You should trust me on that because I feel in love with girls in the past without getting to know their personalities and they ended up having crummy personalities. Also, those individuals who tell you can't be with that certain girl/guy, don't listen to them because you can be with that certain girl/guy, you just have to be persistent (not too persistent) and explore her/his personality and make sure her/his personality meets your personality. Those naysayers/haters are just outside noise. Just open up your heart and express yourself deeply to that individual.  Finally, just be a risk-taker.

Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday.
