Just be humane (caution)

Overall, what is there more to say? Blacks or the politically correct term African Americans, SHOULD get the same civil liberties as our counterparts, the whites or Caucasians but we don't and that's so, so unfortunate. You see this shit on the news, why do a lot of police have to pull us over and after they pull us over, we get shot and killed and in the midst of all of this, they are dehumanizing us. Why can't they just us arrest us and take us to trial rather than kill us? I hate to say this but there's a domino effect happening in this country and the target is Black people and people of color. 

Hopefully, you guys have seen the latest development in the news. I'm talking about Tyre Nichols if some people didn't know. I think there are several points that you can talk about in this case, but I want to talk about the lack of moral compass the officers obviously had when they attacked Tyre. The police are supposed to protect and serve but they are actually hindering the communities that they are serving, a huge chunk are the Black communities.  I saw the video and the video is very hard to watch. I was outraged! These were mostly Black men who attacked Tyre and initially when I saw this on tv, it was Black officers against a Black civilian and not White officers against Black civilians (not really in this case). I'm not advocating for police brutality and dehumanization against White officers and Black civilians. I'm advocating for ALL police brutality and dehumanization regardless of Black officers against Black civilians or White officers against Black civilians to STOP!! If you see the video (attached below), one police officer didn't give Tyre any time to get out of his car, he was yelling at Tyre to get out of the car while he was approaching Tyre's car. The police then dragged him out of his own car and then the other police officers just started whamming on him like he was a wild wildcat. Why can't we have good racial standings with the police other than the obvious? I think I know the potential answer and the potential answer is, there's a racial bureaucratic separation in place and the people who control that separation just want money and control/power. If the people who created the separation are humane with their constituents which they aren't right now, maybe the police will become humane against citizens.

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday. Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .
