Being Fed in the Spirit

A few weeks ago I was heading somewhere in downtown Cleveland but I stopped to catch a bus down there and a man in a wheelchair approached me and I said "hi, how are you doing?" The man replied by saying "I'll be much better when I have some food." Surprisingly enough, I had prepared me some soup and grilled cheese at work and I just placed the food in my book bag. I opened my book bag and gave the food to the man. That made me feel good.  Later that day, it was a lady who was begging for anything and I said " I don't have anything, I'm sorry." I just remembered I had a bottle of Snapple ( juice) in my book bag. I walked back to the lady and handed the Snapple to the lady. I don't want a pat on the back or anything, I'm just doing my civic duty as an American citizen. As the saying goes, Sharing is Caring!!!

I always pray to God and I ask God to just feed the people of America and on international lands who are without food, give them food. I also ask to make them full in a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical sense. I am a believer in God but I'm not perfect at all. When I gave the people food, it fed me in the spiritual sense. Even though I asked God to provide wholeness to people, He gave it to me. What a wonderful experience!!!
