Keep Shooting

I have some exciting news to share with you guys!! The big news is that I have a job. This is truly a blessing. I started a couple weeks ago and I love it. Ir's busy but I like the busy that the job requires me to do.  This is a true testament on what God can do when you have Faith and do the Work simultaneously. This is just me stating that God came through for me Like He always does. This doesn't mean that you have to believe in the same God as me. I tilted this post Keep Shooting because no matter how hard something gets, you have to keep plugging away, Never Give Up!! I got this phrase from the first episode of Me, Myself & I  ( a really great inspirational show).  You guys should watch this TV show, the show is excellent!! This is a good job for now but I don't want this to be my permanent career choice but on the other hand I don't know if this job is going to lead me into a higher position in this company ( Susie's Soup & Deli) or in this field (restaurant). I will continue to remain Faithful and do the Work simultaneously. Remain Faithful in yourself, in the God/Most High  that you Believe in and stay on a positive course and We will succeed in more areas than one.

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday. Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .
