The Hope of the Presidency

There are a lot of people that don't want  Donald Trump to be in office and there are a lot of people who do want Donald Trump to be in office. No matter what people think Donald Trump is going to be sworn in on Friday in the nations capital. We have to Respect our up and becoming President. A lot of people don't like his views but there are some good things that are coming out of this presidency. I can just think of one thing right now that would benefit the American people. I hope there is more than one task this year that Donald Trump and his administration does for the American people. One of my roommates told me that the first task that the first lady ( Melania Trump)  wants to tackle is Cyberbullying is a huge issue that is targeting teenagers right now. I would like to see how she is going to develop this, props to Mrs. Trump for doing this!! For Donald Trump's inauguration a lot of singers and rappers rejected Donald Trump's invitation to perform on Friday. If I was a rapper or singer I would perform to just address positivity and the need of spreading love. Even though some people might want to hate Donald Trump because of all his past talks, we the people of the United States should forgive and love Donald Trump because we all made mistakes multiple times. We should promote peace and love, not hatred  and negativity.

Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday.
