Donald Trump: Love Him or Hate him

I know this incident happened a while ago but since I have a disability I cannot ignore this. I know all of you have heard about how Donald Trump mocked a person who had a disability. The individual who got mocked works for New York Times. Even though we might be livid about this horrible act, especially the disabled community, we must be level headed in this situation. One of the many duties of being a Christian is to Love Thy Neighbor. Another duty is to forgive. I am going to obey the duties of the Lord until blood runs out of my veins and arteries. When people target you with negativity, you just target those negative people with positivity and love. Some of us might not like Donald Trump but we have to love each other and respect everybody even though we may not like to. Be the bigger man and be the bigger woman. Negative people need love too and we all should show and give love to all people, non- disabled and disabled. We should pray for Donald Trump and other people who think making fun of people who have disabilities is ok because it is totally disrespectful and it shows their true character. Love. Forgive. Prosper. Grow.

Respecting & Includement

I saw a TV series called Speechless on ABC and this episode was very good, especially for people who have disabilities and even the people who don't have disabilities don't like a certain word. The word is retarded. I don't like this word because somebody in high school called me that. When people say that word I always cringe up or I say don't say that. My family had a discussion about this and I just say don't say it at all. Another event that happened during this episode was when all the kids went to prom. There was one girl who was taller than the other kids at their school and JJ who's in the wheelchair started dancing with her. JJ realized she wanted to feel included so he included her. In high school, I felt excluded ( maybe partly that was my fault) but the point is that he included her because she felt excluded. Make somebody feel included, not just today but everyday. Don't let others/things to dictate on how to live your life

I'm currently involved in a situation and the situation is I messaged a girl on Facebook and the message was very personal and I told her to not share it with anybody except me and her. She shared it with people on campus. I should've known this but I'll know next time. I'm not mad at all, I've made peace with myself with the whole situation. Now people are talking around campus but the main lesson I got out of this situation is to no let my insecurities hinder my happiness. Even though people talk about me on a negative aspect but I know God is greater than any hate that you face. I also know that He will never will leave me or forsake me. I can't let things or people upset me to the point that I lose my own set of morals, values and most importantly, Sanity .
