Be passionate about what you do!



Everyday people get up and go to work. What is the work that they do? I don't know but I'm pretty sure there are some people out in the world work because they want a paycheck every week or so but to be truthfully honest with you guys, money doesn't drive me, passion is what drives me. I work with Catholic Charities and one of the locations that I go to helps people who have disabilities get jobs. What I do there is help people apply for jobs online. 'That is rewarding to me to. I feel like I'm doing a great service to them because if they do get a job, I know I'm one of the components that helped to get the job for them. This is one of my passions, to help All people, not just people from the disabled communities, All people. For example, a janitor is not a pleasing job in my opinion but I know that people are janitors so I'm not going knock their hustle. It's an art form and I commend people who are embracing this kind of art form but this kind of art form is not for me. Some people who are janitors are so passionate about doing custodial work and I commend them on that because I'm pretty sure it's not an easy job cleaning up after people. Another example is dancers who dance at strip clubs. I went to a strip club once and the dancers seemed so passionate when they danced. It's an art form regarding how they motion their bodies. Overall, the message I want to convey to you guys is to do what you are passionate about, don't just chase the money!!

Work hard and have faith

I Last month my mother just sent my diploma to me via text.  I know this is a cliché but I had to endure blood, sweat and tears. Maybe not blood but you guys should understand the point I'm trying to make. I really worked hard for this piece of paper and I didn't do it by myself. God bestowed mercy and favor upon me during the two years I was there (I spent two years at a junior college, Mercyhurst University North East). I prayed to God each and every day to let me be diligent in my studies and let me graduate. God still is with me and He won't ever forsake me.!! I'm proud to mention God because He always comes through for me. I will continue to have God in my heart and on the tip of my tongue. I told you guys that I prayed but I also had faith and worked very hard. Drake ft Popcaan- Please Forgive Me

When I watched this short film by Drake, I was highly impressed. If you haven't viewed the film, I have the link below. There are three parts of the film that I want to discuss with you guys. The first part I want to discuss with you guys is when Drake was at the diner and drinking coffee by himself thinking about life. This part  correlates to the part when he got into a car after a show in the beginning and he looked like he wasn't satisfied. I feel like he wants something more, other than money and fame. So I guess the definition of a "celebrity" is not what it seems. The saying is true then, that money can't buy you happiness. The next part is when he had those visions of those people disappearing and when the lady was crying.
