I had to go through the darkness to see the light
This past Tuesday, I saw a movie entitled Reminders of Him and the movie was good. This movie makes me think of these words: joy, gratitude, friendship, trauma and resiliency. I'm pretty sure there are a few more words that could describe this movie, but these words say it all I believe. You guys can see the movie yourselves to judge yourself. Life will have joyous occasions and life will also have some shitty moments. Alot of times, I want to seek balance and more often than not, the universe doesn't do balance and I think sometimes being unbalanced is good because if life was balanced all the time, it wouldn't be room for improvement. I just pray to God and I TRY to have faith on a constant basis. When I pray to God, everything that I prayed for worked out and the blessings still come thru, in His own timing though.
For the ones who don't know need to get hip immediately (LOL) but I have a spoken word album out. The words that I used to describe the movie, I think these words can be used to describe myself throughout the years and finally to the point of the release of my spoken word album. I LOVE to speak from the heart and if it's not from the heart, why bother wasting my own time, you know? One of my messages that I want to make clear from the album is to not stay in the darkness if you can help it!! There is more to life than pain and misery. When you have your own light, don't be selfish with your light, distribute that light to others so others can feel how your light shine within themselves.
