Keep God First



I notice that some people who accept awards or give speeches say Keep God first and I can't help but think of how I keep or try to Keep God first in my life. I am a filthy creature with bad habits and the Lord knows this, HE KNOWS ALL!! But at the same time, I truly believe I'm a decent, honest and kind human being that happens to be filthy from time to time. Anyways, I pray, have a positive energetic vibe about me. I don't read my Bible all that much, that's the only task that I need to work on but for the most part, I try to Keep God first. I don't know what it ALL takes to Keep God first but I think I'm close to the border in regards of keeping God first OR in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, who knows, ONLY THE BIG GUY KNOWS.

Work hard and have faith

I Last month my mother just sent my diploma to me via text.  I know this is a cliché but I had to endure blood, sweat and tears. Maybe not blood but you guys should understand the point I'm trying to make. I really worked hard for this piece of paper and I didn't do it by myself. God bestowed mercy and favor upon me during the two years I was there (I spent two years at a junior college, Mercyhurst University North East). I prayed to God each and every day to let me be diligent in my studies and let me graduate. God still is with me and He won't ever forsake me.!! I'm proud to mention God because He always comes through for me. I will continue to have God in my heart and on the tip of my tongue. I told you guys that I prayed but I also had faith and worked very hard. Drake ft Popcaan- Please Forgive Me

When I watched this short film by Drake, I was highly impressed. If you haven't viewed the film, I have the link below. There are three parts of the film that I want to discuss with you guys. The first part I want to discuss with you guys is when Drake was at the diner and drinking coffee by himself thinking about life. This part  correlates to the part when he got into a car after a show in the beginning and he looked like he wasn't satisfied. I feel like he wants something more, other than money and fame. So I guess the definition of a "celebrity" is not what it seems. The saying is true then, that money can't buy you happiness. The next part is when he had those visions of those people disappearing and when the lady was crying. When people were disappearing that might've been  people in his life that died in the past or Drake had to cut them out of his life for good.
