I wouldn't say I'm a political guy but in this post I'm going to be political for a minute. I feel like this nation is in divide because of all the inequalities that are happening in the world. I think the biggest inequality that the world is facing right now is the Me Too movement. For those who don't know about the movement, let me tell you about it. The Me Too movement is a movement that was sparked by women and men in Hollywood that have been sexually assaulted or harassed. I really love how those women and men that have been misused are Speaking Out and not  Shutting Up about this matter because I think this movement affects us all in one way or another. It's such a malicious act that the men do upon the women and how the men do upon the men. I think it all comes down to respecting everybody's bodies and controlling certain urges. Recently my parents and stepfather been trying to give me advice and suggestions about my future and where my life is going. I Love my parents but I know that God is in control of my future and I continue to Trust, Lean and have Faith in/on Him. I view my current frustration like a race. Some racers are faster than others and that's ok. People have different speeds in life, that doesn't mean they aren't going to achieve their goals and ambitions; it just means that people will achieve them at different points in their lives. Standing up for what you believe in is very important because if you want positive change to happen, you have to Stand Up and Speak Out. For those that don't know, I made a film with an arts program called Center for Arts Inspired Learning. The film is entitled Outcast and it's about me overcoming obstacles with the help from God, family and friends. The three messages I want people to understand are 1) being cool is different, 2) make a difference in your own life, somebody else's life, in your community and/or on the global spectrum and 3) Never Give Up!! I have Joubert Syndrome which is a genetic disorder that affects my coordination, balance and speech. The doctors thought I had Ocular Motor Apraxia which deals with the fine motor skills when I was born. I was misdiagnosed by the doctors but when I was thirteen, the diagnosis changed to Joubert Syndrome. I have a bit of Ocular Motor Apraxia still but more of  the symptoms of Joubert Syndrome. I have some exciting news to share with you guys!! The big news is that I have a job. This is truly a blessing. I started a couple weeks ago and I love it. Ir's busy but I like the busy that the job requires me to do.  This is a true testament on what God can do when you have Faith and do the Work simultaneously. This is just me stating that God came through for me Like He always does. This doesn't mean that you have to believe in the same God as me. Whether or not you agree to this logic, you have to respect people who don't have ordinary jobs. An ordinary job in my opinion would be an administrative assistant for a business. I would imagine some  people would think being a stripper or a prostitute isn't an ordinary job. Whatever you believe,strippers and prostitutes are employed by stripping and prostituting and We need to respect them because they are human beings. People might not agree with people's professions but at the end of they day, people are going to do what they want to do. I don't know if stripping and prostituting were the strippers and prostitutes first choice and if it was, who cares, as long as they are enjoying it. People have to enjoy what they do or they will be miserable for the rest of their lives. . I would think these professions can be risky at times or all of the time. Last night, I watched The Accountant ( good movie by the way)  starring Anna Kendrick and Ben Affleck and the character played by Ben Affleck had Asperger Syndrome. The saying that struck a cord with me from the movie was when the father told both of his sons"different makes people scared". This is so true but what I've learned over the years is to educate the masses on what makes me different, Everybody is different in regardless of wearing different clothes and having different personalities but I'm talking about people who have disabilities. I was lacking self confidence when I was a kid so I was embarrassed to tell people why I shake my head. But as I began getting older, I became  more confident in myself because my parents allowed me to be in extracurricular activities so I could be myself and that opened up my social skills. Yesterday I went to a funeral like I told you guys and what I realized when I was in the pews was that I was so glad that I had the opportunity to share the same church space with the former deacon of my church for a handful of years. I also realized that  You have to cherish every opportunity with people on this earth because We don't know when the next time we are going to see that person. I was cherishing the former deacon's memory in that aspect but I'm going to also talk about c herishing every opportunity in different ways too. Right now, I don't have a job and it is difficult but I know things will turn around for me. But anyways, since I don't have a job right now, I had to move back home.
